Privacy Policy

Skiing.TV ("we," "us," or "the site") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, your rights regarding it, and how to contact us with questions. We collect as little as possible — just enough to respond to acquisition inquiries and understand how the site is used.

1. What information we collect

We collect two categories of information:

Information you provide directly

When you submit the acquisition offer form on Skiing.TV, we collect the following information because you voluntarily provide it:

• Your name
• Your organization or company name
• Your email address
• Your buyer type (from a dropdown selection)
• Your offer amount
• The context or strategic intent you share with us

We collect this information solely to evaluate your offer and respond to you.

Information collected automatically

When you visit any page on Skiing.TV, our hosting and analytics providers automatically receive certain standard technical information, including:

• Your IP address (usually anonymized or truncated)
• Your browser type and operating system
• The pages you visit and the time you spent on them
• The referring website or search query that sent you to us
• Your approximate geographic location (country or region level)

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for this purpose. Cloudflare Web Analytics is a privacy-first analytics service that does not use cookies, does not fingerprint users, and does not collect personally identifiable information. 2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect only for the following purposes:

• To evaluate and respond to acquisition offers and inquiries submitted through the form
• To communicate with you about your offer, potential negotiation, or related matters
• To understand site traffic patterns in aggregate (which pages are visited, where visitors come from)
• To protect the site from spam, abuse, or security threats
• To comply with legal obligations when required

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it for behavioral advertising or profiling.

3. Who we share information with

We share your personal information only with the following categories of service providers, and only to the extent necessary for them to provide services to us:

• Cloudflare — hosting, DNS, and privacy-first web analytics
• Web3Forms — the service that receives your form submission and forwards it to our email
• Our email provider — the inbox where offer notifications are received

These service providers are contractually bound to use your information solely for the services they provide to us. We do not share your information with any other third parties, unless we are required to do so by law (for example, in response to a valid legal request).

4. How long we keep your information

We keep acquisition offer submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to evaluate them and complete any resulting transaction or correspondence — typically no longer than three years. After that point, we delete or anonymize the records, unless we are required to retain them for legal or tax purposes.

Cloudflare Web Analytics retention is managed by Cloudflare; aggregate analytics data is generally retained for a rolling period set by the service.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information.

If you are a California resident (CCPA / CPRA)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect about you and how we use it
• Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to certain legal exceptions
• Correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (note: we do not sell or share your personal information as defined under California law)
• Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect sensitive personal information as defined under California law)
• Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights

To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@skiing.tv with your request. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling it.

If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom (GDPR)

If you are in the EEA or UK, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or UK GDPR that are similar to those described above, including the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing of, and port your personal information, as well as the right to object to processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Our legal basis for processing your personal information is generally (a) your consent (when you voluntarily submit the offer form), (b) legitimate interest (for basic analytics and site security), or (c) compliance with legal obligations.

All other visitors

If you live elsewhere, you can still email us at privacy@skiing.tv with privacy questions or requests. We will respond in good faith.

6. Cookies and tracking

Skiing.TV does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or cross-site trackers. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not set cookies on your device. The only storage we use is standard browser storage required for the site to function (for example, remembering form input during a session).

If you submit the acquisition form, our form processor (Web3Forms) may set a temporary session token to prevent spam and duplicate submissions. This token is not used for tracking.

7. Children

Skiing.TV is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us at privacy@skiing.tv and we will delete it promptly.

8. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including HTTPS encryption in transit, access controls on our email systems, and secure form transmission. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take data protection seriously.

9. International transfers

If you access Skiing.TV from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the site, you consent to such transfers.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify prior form submitters if we have their email on file.
